Tamara Hoekwater
Tamara Tessa Eleonora Hoekwater (born 1 May 1972 in Heerlen) is a Dutch singer who performs in Dutch and English. She studied at the Maastricht Academy of Music. From 1992 until 2002 she was the lead singer of pop band Volumia! After Volumia! she sang at the big band Swing Design. Starting in 2002 she sang in The Jack Million Big-Band, doubling as its manager, performing several times in the United States. On one of these tours, they participated in the Glenn Miller Festival in Clarinda, Iowa. In New York she played with Greg Walker ( Santana). At the TV station L1 she presented several programs such as ''Valuation on Location'' and ''Tamara & Birgit.'' Today she lives in Amsterdam with her husband Björn Stenvers where she works on her jazz career with Cees Hamelink and their Bourgondisch Combo with performances in the Netherlands and abroad. Heerlen
Heerlen (; li, Heële ) is a city and a municipality in the southeast of the Netherlands. It is the third largest settlement proper in the province of Limburg. Measured as municipality, it is the fourth municipality in the province of Limburg. Heerlen forms part of the city-region of Parkstad Limburg, an agglomeration with about 250,000 inhabitants and encompassing 8 municipalities. Santana is an American rock band formed in San Francisco in 1966 by American guitarist Carlos Santana. The band has undergone multiple recording and performing line-ups in its history, with Santana the only consistent member. Rembrandt House Museum
The Rembrandt House Museum ( nl, Museum Het Rembrandthuis) is a museum located in a former house in the Jodenbreestraat, in the center of Amsterdam. Between 1639 and 1658, the house was occupied by the well-known Dutch painter Rembrandt van Rijn, who also had his studio and art dealership there. The house was built around 1606 and was renovated around 1627, probably under the supervision of Jacob van Campen. It was then given an extra floor and a new facade with a triangular pediment. Rembrandt bought it on January 5, 1639 for thirteen thousand guilders. After his bankruptcy it was auctioned in 1658 and sold for eleven thousand guilders. In the following centuries it was used as a residence and was renovated several times. At the beginning of the 20th century, the building was in poor condition, and on the occasion of the Rembrandt Year in 1906, it was purchased in 1907 by the municipality of Amsterdam, which donated it to the Rembrandthuis foundation. Cees Jan Hamelink (born 14 September 1940) is a Dutch academic known for his work on communication, culture, and technology. He is emeritus professor of international communications and emeritus professor of media at the University of Amsterdam; professor in management information and knowledge at the University of Aruba; and professor of media, religion and culture at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. Björn Stenvers
Björn Stenvers (born 25 May 1972, in Arnhem) is the CEO of the Eye Care Foundation. Before he was CEO at the Fonds de dotation de l’ICOM (of the International Council of Museums). He was the director of the foundation of the Official Museums of Amsterdam (2013-2016) which he also founded. Björn was the only Dutch lecturer in the program for Ministers of Culture of the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration (2015-2022).
