Wangsa Maju is a township and a constituency in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. This area is surrounded by Setapak, Taman Melati and Gombak district in Selangor. Wangsa Maju is one of the largest townships in Kuala Lumpur and consists of many sections — Section 1, 2, 4, 5, 6 and 10. Gombak
The Gombak District is an administrative district located in the state of Selangor, Malaysia. The district was created on February 1, 1974, the same day when Kuala Lumpur was declared a Federal Territory. Until 1997, Rawang was the district capital; the capital has been moved to Bandar Baru Selayang. Gombak borders Kuala Lumpur to the southeast and the Genting Highlands to the east. Both Gombak and Kuala Lumpur, along with some other districts in Selangor, are situated within the Klang Valley. The LRT Kelana Jaya Line is a medium-capacity light rapid transit (LRT) line and the first fully automated and driverless rail system in the Klang Valley, Malaysia. Taman Melati LRT station is an elevated rapid transit station in northern Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, part of the Kelana Jaya Line (formerly known as PUTRA). The station was opened on 1 June 1999, as part of the line's second segment encompassing 12 stations between Masjid Jamek station and Terminal PUTRA (not including Sri Rampai station) and an underground line. Datin Paduka Dr. Tan Yee Kew () (born 1953) is a Malaysian politician who served as the Member of Parliament (MP) for Wangsa Maju from May 2018 to November 2022, for Klang from April 1995 to March 2008 and Parliamentary Secretary of International Trade and Industry from March 2004 to March 2008.
