Tallwood High School
Tallwood High School is a secondary school in southwest Virginia Beach, Virginia, Virginia Beach, Virginia. It was built on the site of an old colonial plantation whose manor house was Tallwood, hence the name of the school. Tallwood was remodeled during 2004–2005. One of the school's most remarkable features is the Global Studies and World Languages Academy. It's one of several magnet school, magnet programs in Virginia Beach. Students throughout the city interested in a studying global issues and foreign languages can apply. Debate In 2000, 2001, 2003, and 2004, members of Tallwood's Debate team won the VHSL State Championships in AAA. Deborah Plummer served as head coach of Tallwood's Debate team until 2007. In the 1999-2000 VHSL State Debate Tournament, Tallwood's Four Person Policy Debate squad clinched the AAA championship. Chad Hartigan
Chad Hartigan (born August 31, 1982 in Nicosia, Cyprus) is a Cyprus-born, Irish-American filmmaker and actor. Early life Chad Hartigan was born in Nicosia, Cyprus in 1982. His father is from Limerick, Ireland, and his mother is from Sparks, Nevada. They were both missionaries who met at a YWAM camp in England and got married there before relocating to Cyprus. Jon Dunn (American Football)
Jonathan Paul Dunn (born December 12, 1981) is a former American football offensive tackle. He was selected by the Cleveland Browns in the seventh round of the 2005 NFL Draft. He played college football at Virginia Tech. Dunn was also a member of the New York Giants and Detroit Lions. Early life Dunn attended Tallwood High School in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
