Orsolya Takács (born 20 May 1985) is a Hungarian female water polo player. She plays for Bologna in the Italian Championship and is also member of the Hungarian national team. Among her successes on club level are two Hungarian Championship (2007, 2008) and three Hungarian Cup titles (2007, 2009, 2010). Miklós Takács
Miklós Antal Imre Takács de Saár (Szombathely, Hungary, 1906 – Szombathely, 1967) was a Hungarian silviculturist and Social Democratic politician. He was a member of the Takács de Saár family. Takács studied at the Academy of Forestry in Győr and after his graduation worked as forest inspector first in Csepreg, then in Kőszegpaty, Nemescsó, Pusztacsó and Benkeháza. Between the world wars he published a number of articles and essays on forestry and beekeeping in Hungarian and German periodicals. In 1945, when Ferenc Szálasi's government had its headquarters around Kőszeg, Takács managed to save the lives of many Jews and prisoners of war. Upon the end of World War II, Takács became a member of the Hungarian Social Democratic Party and took part in elaboration of the agrarian reform in Hungary. Lajos Takács (August 21, 1924 (Maglód) – December 4, 2015) was a Hungarian mathematician, known for his contributions to probability theory and in particular, queueing theory. He wrote over two hundred scientific papers and six books. He studied at the Technical University of Budapest (1943-1948), taking courses with Charles Jordan and received an M.S. for his dissertation ''On a Probability-theoretical Investigation of Brownian Motion'' (1948). Jenő Takács (; 25 September 1902 – 14 November 2005) was a Hungarian composer and pianist. Life and work Born in Cinfalva on 25 September 1902, he studied at the Academy of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna with Joseph Marx in composition and Paul Weingarten in piano until 1926 at the University of Vienna counterpoint with Hans Gál and musicology with Guido Adler. Since 1920, he had already undertaken tours through Germany, Hungary and Yugoslavia. In 1926 he made acquaintance with Béla Bartók; from which a lively contact arose until Bartók's emigration to the United States in 1940. He was a professor of piano at the conservatory of Cairo, Egypt from 1927 to 1932, where he made Arab and Egyptian Music the subject of his research.
