''Takkar'' (released internationally as ''The Bang'') is a 2023 Indian Tamil-language romantic action film written and directed by Karthik G. Krish and produced by Passion Studios. The film stars Siddharth, Divyansha Kaushik and Yogi Babu in the lead roles, alongside Abhimanyu Singh, Munishkanth and RJ Vigneshkanth in supporting roles. ''Takkar'' was released on 9 June 2023, received negative reviews from critics and became a box-office bomb. Premise Gunashekharan alias "Gunz" is a happy-go-lucky youngster who has the desire to become a millionaire, where he gets entangled with a rich girl named Lucky, who believes that the money is the root cause of distress. Siddharth Suryanarayan (born 17 April 1979), known mononymously as Siddharth, is an Indian actor who primarily works in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi language films. Apart from acting, he has also been involved in films as a screenwriter, producer and playback singer. He has also been featured in many advertisements. After completing his business management studies, Siddharth chose to work in film making and assisted Mani Ratnam, before going on to make an acting debut in S.
