Takeshi Masada
is a Japanese professional wrestler working for the Japanese promotion DDT Pro-Wrestling where he is a former two-time Ironman Heavymetalweight Champion. Early life In his second year of junior high school, he was inspired to join DDT Pro-Wrestling after watching Kota Ibushi matches, street wrestling and Yoshihiko matches. Since his high school didn't have a wrestling club, he took up Shorinji Kempo instead, and in August 2019, he ranked third at the Inter-High School Intercollegiate Championship in '' dantai embu'' with the Osaka Prefectural Semboku Senior High School team. DDT Pro-Wrestling
is a Japanese professional wrestling promotion based in Shinjuku, Tokyo, Shinjuku, Tokyo. Its name is an initialism of Dramatic Dream Team, which was the promotion's original name from 1997 to 2004. Founded in March 1997 by Shintaro Muto, the promotion was eventually bought and managed by Shoichi Ichimiya until December 2005, when Sanshiro Takagi took over as the new president. In 2017, DDT was sold to CyberAgent. Takagi retained his position, while Takahiro Yamauchi took over as the new DDT director. The D Generations Cup (DGC) is an annual professional wrestling tournament organized by CyberFight's DDT Pro-Wrestling brand. This tournament showcases up-and-coming talents from the company, akin to the Young Drama Cup, last held in 2010. The inaugural edition, held in 2023, employed a round-robin format, with each participant facing all other wrestlers within the same block in singles matches.
