Taiwan Adventist Hospital
The Taiwan Adventist Hospital (TAH; ) is a hospital in Songshan District, Taipei, Taiwan. Since 1989, Taiwan Adventist Hospital has been giving medical care to patients from Australia, Canada, India, Japan, Korea, United States, United Kingdom, and many other countries. History The hospital was relocated from Shanghai to Taipei in 1949, after mainland China was conquered by the Communists. Dr. Harry Willis Miller re-established it as Taiwan Sanitarium Hospital. Madame Chiang Kai-shek cut the ribbon on March 28, 1955, when the new hospital was completed. Later it was renamed Taiwan Sanitarium and Hospital, after it expanded its services. Songshan District, Taipei
Songshan District is a district of Taipei, Taiwan. The Songshan Airport and the Taipei Arena are located here. History Songshan was originally named Malysyakkaw, a lowland Ketagalan word meaning "Where the river twists". Its written form () was abbreviated () in 1815 during Qing rule. Nauru Regional Processing Centre
The Nauru Regional Processing Centre is an offshore Australian immigration detention facility in use from 2001 to 2008, from 2012 to 2019, and from September 2021. It is located on the South Pacific island nation of Nauru and run by the Government of Nauru. The use of immigration detention facilities is part of a policy of mandatory detention in Australia. The Nauru facility was opened in 2001 as part of the Howard Government's Pacific Solution. A prayer rug or prayer mat is a piece of fabric, sometimes a pile carpet, used by Muslims, some Christians and some Baha'i during prayer. Indonesian Ulema Council ( id, Majelis Ulama Indonesia, ar, مجلس العلماء الإندونيسي, abbreviated MUI) is Indonesia's top Islamic scholars body. MUI was founded in Jakarta on July 26, 1975 during the New Order era. The council comprises many Indonesian Muslim groups including Nahdlatul Ulama (NU), Muhammadiyah, and smaller groups such as, Syarikat Islam, Perti, Al Washliyah, Mathla'ul Anwar, GUPPI, PTDI, DMI and Al Ittihadiyyah. The Ahlul Bait Indonesia (Shi'ite) and Jemaat Ahmadiyyah Indonesia (Ahmadiyya) were not accepted as members.
