Bo'ai Campus, University of Taipei () was a normal university in Zhongzheng District, Taipei, Taiwan. History TMUE was founded as Academy of Language in 1895. In 1987, it became the Taipei Municipal Teacher's College. In 2005, it was granted university status and changed to its current name Taipei Municipal University of Education (TMUE). Zhongzheng District (also Jhongjheng District) is a district in Taipei. It is home to most of the national government buildings of the Republic of China (Taiwan), including the Presidential Office, the Executive Yuan, the Control Yuan, the Legislative Yuan, the Judicial Yuan and various government ministries. University of Taipei (UT; ) is an institution of higher education in Taipei, Taiwan. It has two campuses in Taipei metropolitan area and is the only university under the administration of Taipei City Government. The system produces pupils with some of the highest test scores in the world, especially in mathematics and science.
