Taibon Agordino
Taibon Agordino is a ''comune'' (municipality) in the province of Belluno in the Italian region of Veneto, located about north of Venice and about northwest of Belluno. Many of the homes in Taibon have descended within families. Giardino Alpino "Antonio Segni"
The Giardino Alpino "Antonio Segni" (5,000 m2) is an alpine botanical garden located at 1,714 meters altitude in Refugio Vazzoler, Gruppo del Civetta, Col Negro di Pelsa, Taibon Agordino, Province of Belluno, Veneto, Italy. It is privately owned with a municipal affiliation, and open daily when Refugio Vazzoler is open. The garden was established in 1968 in the Dolomites, and named after Italian President Antonio Segni (1891-1972). Its mission is to educate hikers and the general public about the most important species of trees, shrubs, and grasses of the Alps and Dolomites, particularly those of the garden's local environment near the Massif Moiazza-Civetta. The garden consists of natural areas, man-made wetlands, and three small rock gardens. Zoldo Alto
Zoldo Alto is a town in the province of Belluno, Veneto, Italy. It's a frazione of Val di Zoldo since 2016. It is noted for its ski resort. A boarding school was established in the 1950s which was used by the children during spring and autumn and senior citizens during the winter months. On 31 January 1991 the municipality was affected by the Ru Duelle Roe landslide, which affected the right flank of the Ru delle Roe stream in the dolomitic slopes of Cime di San Sebastiano and Moiazza. Alleghe ( Ladin: ''Àlie'') is a village and ''comune'' in the province of Belluno in the Italian region of Veneto. To the west Alleghe borders with Alleghe Lake, which was formed in 1771 by a landslide from the adjacent Mount Piz. Name Purists of the Italian language would derive the name Alleghe from the Latin ''alica'' or ''alicarius'', meaning "granary", but as no grain is grown in this Alpine village, it is most likely that Alleghe is a contraction of the Ladin ''a l'agua'', in reference the deep mountain valley that marked the western boundary of the village prior to the landslide of 1771.
