Tai Wo Hau Estate () is a public housing estate in Tai Wo Hau, Kwai Chung, Kwai Tsing District, New Territories, Hong Kong. It has a total of 17 blocks following redevelopment. Kwai Yin Court () is a Home Ownership Scheme court in Tai Wo Hau Estate and opposite to MTR Tai Wo Hau station. It has two blocks built in 1993. History After the World War II, a large number of squatter dwellings were built in Tai Wo Hau, on the hill between Tsuen Wan and Kwai Chung, and on the fields of the villages north of Castle Peak Road. The squatter area was cleared in the 1960s for the construction of the Tai Wo Hau Resettlement Estate (). The resettlement blocks were cleared between the 1970s and 80s. Tsuen Wan
Tsuen Wan (formerly also spelled Tsun Wan) is a town built on a bay in the western New Territories of Hong Kong, opposite of Tsing Yi Island across Rambler Channel. The market town of Tsuen Wan emerged from the surrounding villages and fleets of fishing boats in the area. The now-crowded city is around the present-day Tsuen Wan station of the MTR. 2019 Hong Kong Local Elections

The Census and Statistics Department (C&SD; ) is the provider of major social and economic official statistics in Hong Kong. Castle Peak Road
Castle Peak Road is the longest road in Hong Kong. Completed in 1920, it runs in the approximate shape of an arc of a semi-circle. It runs West from Tai Po Road in Sham Shui Po, New Kowloon, to Tuen Mun, then north to Yuen Long then east to Sheung Shui, in the very north of the New Territories. It is divided into 22 sections. It serves south, west and north New Territories, being one of the most distant roads in early Hong Kong. Name The road was named after Castle Peak, a peak in the western New Territories. Tai Wo Hau Station
Tai Wo Hau () is an MTR station between and stations on the . It serves the areas of Kwai Yin Court and Tai Wo Hau Estate in the Kwai Tsing District, and some resited villages (such as Kwan Mun Hau Tsuen) in the Tsuen Wan District of Hong Kong. These villages were originally in Tsuen Wan town centre, being moved for new town development. Tai Wo Hau station was one of the first railway stations in the New Territories; and the first underground one. All other New Territories stations on the Tsuen Wan line are either at surface level or on viaducts. Lai King station cuts through a hillside slope, and all other New Territories underground stations were opened some years later.
