Taheruddin Thakur
Taheruddin Thakur (died 17 February 2009) was a Bangladeshi politician. He served as the Minister of State for Information at the cabinet of President Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. Career Thakur was arrested on 14 August 1996 for the charge of assassination of Sheikh Mujibur Rahman which took place on 15 August 1975. He was acquitted from the case later. On 20 October 2004, Metropolitan Sessions Judge's Court (Trial Court) acquitted Thakur from another charge of Jail Killing case. Thakur worked as a journalist at ''The Daily Ittefaq''. Sheikh Mujibur Rahman ( bn, শেখ মুজিবুর রহমান; 17 March 1920 – 15 August 1975), often shortened as Sheikh Mujib or Mujib and widely known as Bangabandhu (meaning ''Friend of Bengal''), was a Bengalis, Bengali politician, Member of parliament, parliamentarian and the founding leader of the People's Republic of Bangladesh. Assassination Of Sheikh Mujibur Rahman
The first president of Bangladesh, Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, and most of his family were killed during the early hours of 15 August 1975 by a group of young Bangladesh Army personnel who invaded his Bangabandhu Memorial Museum, Dhanmondi 32 residence as part of 15 August 1975 Bangladesh coup d'état, a coup d'état. ''The Daily Ittefaq'' ( bn, দৈনিক ইত্তেফাক, translit. ''Doinik Ittefak'') is a Bengali-language daily newspaper. Founded in 1953, it is the oldest newspaper, and one of the most circulated newspapers in Bangladesh. This newspaper format is broadsheet and is printed by Ittefaq Group of Publications Limited. Kidney disease, or renal disease, technically referred to as nephropathy, is damage to or disease of a kidney.
