Taekwondo Federation Of India
The INDIA TAEKWONDO (IT) replaced Taekwondo Federation of India (TFI) as the national governing body for Taekwondo in India on confirmation from World Taekwondo on 9th July 2019. Since there were many disputes from almost a decade among the office bearers of the previous governing body (TFI) Indian Olympic Association took the matter in its own hands and formed a new federation to bring relief to the affected Taekwondo Athletes of the whole country. This decision of the IOA was welcomed and accepted by the WT President with his e-mail dated 9th July 2019. Taekwondo
''Taekwondo'', ''Tae Kwon Do'' or ''Taekwon-Do'' (; ko, 태권도/跆拳道 ) is a Korean form of martial arts involving punching and kicking techniques, with emphasis on head-height kicks, spinning jump kicks, and fast kicking techniques. The literal translation for tae kwon do is "kicking", "punching", and "the art or way of". They are a kind of martial arts in which one attacks or defends with hands and feet anytime or anywhere, with occasional use of weapons. Central Industrial Security Force
The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) is a federal police organisation in India under the Ministry of Home Affairs. It is one among the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF). CISF provides security to over 356 industrial units (including 13 Private Sector Units), government infrastructure projects and facilities and establishments located all over India. Services Sports Control Board (SSCB) is a sports board run by the Indian Armed Forces. It was formed in 1919 as the Army Sports Control Board and later renamed to Services Sports Control Board. The board is represented as Services in the National Games of India. It has been one of the leading medal winners in the National Games. As a member of the Board of Control for Cricket in India, it governs the sport of cricket in the Indian Armed Forces and administers the Services cricket team. Rajiv Gandhi (; 20 August 1944 – 21 May 1991) was an Indian politician who served as the sixth prime minister of India from 1984 to 1989. World Taekwondo, called the World Taekwondo Federation until June 2017, is an international federation governing the sport of taekwondo and is a member of the Association of Summer Olympic International Federations (ASOIF).
