Hassan Tabatabaei Qomi
Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Hassan Tabatabaei Qomi ( ar, حسن الطباطبايي القمي; fa, ; 1912–2007) was a prominent Shia marja' who was born in Najaf. He was known as Seyyed Hassan Qomi. Seyyed Hassan was inhabitant in Mashhad, and was opposing (against) Pahlavi reign. He is the son of Seyyed Hussein Qomi, and the brother of Seyyed Taqi Qomi. Seyyed Hassan had teachers, amongst: Mohammad Hussein Naini, Seyyed Hussein Qomi, Mohammad Hussein Qaravi Esfahani, Sheikh Kazem Shirazi, Mirza Mohammad Aqazadeh. He has repeatedly criticized the velayat-e faqih, and because of his critique, the Iranian government, beginning with Ruhollah Khomeini, placed him under house arrest from 1984 until his death in 2007. Zebrahead is an American rap-punk band from La Habra, California. Formed in 1996, the band has released thirteen studio albums to date. Ali Tabatabaee () is an Iranian-American musician who is one of two main vocalists in the American band Zebrahead. Background Before joining Zebrahead, Tabatabaee was a pre-med student at UC Irvine majoring in Biology and minoring in Theater. After graduating, he decided to take a year off from school to take the MCAT and to apply to medical school. It was during this time that he started singing with the other members of Zebrahead. Waleed Al-Tabatabaie ( Arabic: وليد الطبطبائي) was a member of the Kuwaiti National Assembly, who represented the third district. Grand Ayatollah Sayed Mohammed Ali Tabatabai Al-Hassani ( ar, السيد محمد علي الطباطبائي الحسني; 1945 – February 2017) was an Iraqi, Twelver Shia Muslim Marja'. Sadeq Tabatabaei ( fa, صادق طباطبایی; 25 March 1943 – 21 February 2015) was an Iranian writer, journalist, TV host, university professor at the University of Tehran and politician who served as Deputy Prime Minister from 1979 to 1980. He was also Deputy Minister of the Interior and oversaw the referendum on establishing an Islamic Republic in March 1979. He was Iran's Ambassador to West Germany from 1982 until 1986.
