TRNSMT is a large annual music festival that takes place in Glasgow Green in Glasgow, Scotland. The festival first took place in 2017. TRNSMT
TRNSMT (pronounced as "Transmit") is a music festival staged at Glasgow Green in Glasgow, Scotland, organised by DF Concerts. History An early line-up for the first TRNSMT festival was revealed in January 2017, two months after the announcement that T in the Park (also organised by DF Concerts) would not be staged that year. The first festival took place over three days in July 2017 and the organisers said that 120,000 people attended. Shortly after the first festival concluded, a second event was announced for the following year. In November 2017, the festival organisers announced a change of date. The 2018 event was held over six days, split over two weekends. In 2019 the event returned to being three days covering a single weekend, with a daily capacity of 50,000. On 24 April 2020, it was announced that the 2020 festival would not go ahead due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Blossoms (band)
Blossoms are an English pop band from Stockport, Greater Manchester, England. Formed in 2013, the band consists of Tom Ogden (lead vocals, guitar), Charlie Salt (bass, backing vocals), Josh Dewhurst (lead guitar, percussion), Joe Donovan (drums) and Myles Kellock (keyboards, synthesizer, backing vocals). They were on the BBC's Sound Of new music list for 2016 where they finished in fourth place. They were one of only two guitar bands on the list, alongside Rat Boy. Blossoms' self-titled debut album was one of the twelve albums nominated for the Mercury Music Prize in 2017. That same year, they were nominated for British Breakthrough Act at the Brit Awards. In April 2021 the band made national headlines when they were announced as headlining a one-day "trial" festival at Sefton Park on 2 May that year. Sundara Karma are an English rock band formed in 2011 in Reading, England. The Strypes were a four-piece rock band from Cavan, Ireland, formed in 2010 consisting of Ross Farrelly (lead vocals/harmonica), Josh McClorey (lead guitar/vocals), Peter O'Hanlon (bass guitar/harmonica) and Evan Walsh (drums). The band played the local scene with various members switching parts as they searched for their sound. Cabbage (band)
Cabbage was an English post punk rock band, formed in 2015 in Mossley, Tameside, England. They are composed of co-frontmen Lee Broadbent and Joe Martin, guitarist Eoghan Clifford, bassist Patrick Neville and drummer Asa Morley.
