TEI TS1400
The TEI TS1400 is a 1,400 shp turboshaft engine for rotary wing applications. It is developed by the Tusaş Engine Industries (TEI) in Turkey. Development The engine is developed for helicopters produced in Turkey. The "Turboshaft Engine Development Project" ( tr, Turboşaft Motor Geliştirme Projesi, TMGP), launched on 7 March 2017, aims to reduce foreign dependency while increasing indigenousness rates. The first installment of the TEI TS1400 is planned on the TAI T625 Gökbey, a twin-engined light transport/utility helicopter developed by Turkish Aerospace Industries. The engine was introduced to the public on 11 December 2020. It was also announced that the engine may be used for T129 ATAK attack helicopter in the future. Specifications Other * 30sec. TAI T625 Gökbey
The TAI T625 Gökbey is a twin-engined light transport/utility helicopter developed by Turkish Aerospace Industries.. Turkey's Undersecretariat for Defence Industries plans to offer the new platform to Turkish Armed Forces and cooperating nations.. Design and development Turkish Aerospace Industries launched preliminary design studies in 2010. The project commenced in 2013 when Undersecretariat for Defence Industries signed a contract with the Turkish Aerospace Industries to develop a 6-ton class multi-role helicopter for land operations. T129 ATAK
The TAI/AgustaWestland T129 ATAK is a twin-engine, tandem seat, multi-role, all-weather attack helicopter based on the Agusta A129 Mangusta platform. The T129 was developed by Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI) in partnership with Leonardo ( AgustaWestland Helicopters). The helicopter is designed for armed reconnaissance and attack missions in hot and high environments and rough geography in both day and night conditions. The ATAK programme was begun to meet the requirements of Turkish Armed Forces for an armed tactical reconnaissance and an attack helicopter.
