TEDxAmsterdam is an independent TEDx-licensed event, held annually in Amsterdam, the Netherlands since 2009. The event was founded by Dutch tech-entrepreneur Jim Stolze. Kris Berry
Kris Berry (born Curaçao, 1982) is a Dutch singer. Career In 2011, Berry performed at North Sea Jazz Festival. Her debut album ''Marbles'' was released in 2012 with Wicked Jazz Sounds Recordings. In August 2013 she performed at the Curaçao North Sea Jazz Festival. Berry and Perquisite released ''Lovestruck Puzzles'' with Unexpected Records in September 2013. In October 2014, Berry opened for Caro Emerald during her 11-day tour in the UK, including the O2 Arena and SSE Hydro. In November 2014, Berry performed at TEDxAmsterdam.In May 2017, Berry released her new album ''Berry Street'' at TivoliVredenburg in Utrecht. The album was recorded in Brooklyn, New York and produced with producers Jesse Singer and Chris Soper. Jim Stolze
Jim Stolze (born November 30, 1973) is a tech-entrepreneur located at Amsterdam Science Park, mostly known for his work in the world wide TEDx Community and the European Startup scene. Author A graduate of Vrije Universiteit, VU University Amsterdam, Stolze earned his MBA from the Lemniscaat Business School. His Master Thesis captured international attention because of an experiment in which he went completely offline for a whole month. Stolze shared his experiences in a book called "How to survive your Inbox". His second book was called "Sold Out!" in which he describes the Attention Economy. The book was nominated management book of the year. In his third book he coins the term "algorithmization". TED Conferences, LLC (Technology, Entertainment, Design) is an American-Canadian non-profit media organization that posts international talks online for free distribution under the slogan "ideas worth spreading". The European Design Awards, also known as the ED-Awards, are annual awards presented to European designers for outstanding work in the communication design field.
