T2 Road (Tanzania)
The T2 is a Trunk road in Tanzania. The road runs from the major highway junction in Chalinze where the Trunk Road T1 and T2 intersect all the way to Kenyan border at Namanga. The route is approximately . The road is a major road artery between Dar es Salaam and the cities in the North of Tanzania. The road is entirely paved. The road is a busy road link between the two largest economies in the East African Community & is part of the Cape to Cairo Road. Chalinze District
Chalinze (''Wilaya ya Chalinze'' in Swahili) is one of nine administrative districts of Pwani Region in Tanzania. The district covers an area of . The district is comparable in size to the land area of Puerto Rico. Chalinze District is bordered to the northeast by Pangani District, the north by Handeni District and in Kilindi District of Tanga Region. The district is bordered to the east by the Indian Ocean. Transport In Tanzania
Transport in Tanzania includes road, rail, air and maritime networks. The road network is long, of which is classified as trunk road and as regional road. The rail network consists of of track. Cape To Cairo Road
The Cape to Cairo Road or Pan-African Highway, sometimes called the Great North Road in sub-Saharan Africa, was a proposed road that would stretch the length of Africa, from Cape Town to Cairo, through the Cape to Cairo Red Line of British Empire, British colonies. The proposal was similar to the Cape to Cairo Railway, another proposed infrastructure project through the same colonies. Neither were completed before British colonial rule ended in the colonies.
