T. M. Chummar
Thattarassery Mathai Chummar (13 October 1899 – 17 February 1987), commonly identified as T. M. Chummar, was an Indian academic and writer of Malayalam literature, best known for his books on its history. An associate of G. Sankara Kurup and Vailoppilli Sreedhara Menon, Chummar's books on Kunchan Nambiar and C. V. Raman Pillai detail their literary contributions. He was a recipient of the title ''Sahitya Nipunan'', conferred on him by the Rajah of Cochin. The Kerala Sahitya Akademi honoured him with the distinguished fellowship in 1986. Biography T. M. Chummar was born on 13 October 1899, at Chirakkakam in Varappuzha, an islet in Ernakulam district of the south Indian state of Kerala to Thattarasserry Mathai Asan and Thressia. Varappuzha
Varappuzha, , (also known by its former name Verapoly) is a northern suburb of the city of Kochi. It is a census town in Paravur Taluk, Ernakulam district in the Indian state of Kerala. Situated around 15 km (9 mi) from the city centre and 8 km (5 mi) from Edapally, the areas lies in the NH 66 connecting Vytilla with North Paravur. Munambam
Munambam is a suburb of Kochi, India at the north end of Vypeen Island, surrounded by the Arabian Sea on the west, Periyar river on the east, and a mouth of the sea on the north. Kottuvally is a census town in Paravoor.It is also a village in Paravur Taluk, Ernakulam district in the Indian state of Kerala. The village is situated in the south of the taluk. The nearest town is North Paravur, 4 km away. The Kottuvally panchayath is spread out on both sides of NH-66 road. History Kottuvally is one of the early nine panchayats formed in Travancore.
