Szőnyi úti Stadion is a sports stadium in Zugló, Budapest, Hungary. The stadium is home to the association football side BVSC Budapest. The stadium has a capacity of 12,000. History On 2 April 2015, three new artificial pitches were inaugurated at the sports centre of the club. One of the pitches is 40 x 60 metres and the two other pitches are 22 x 40 metres in size. The cost of the construction of the new pitches was 150 million Hungarian forints. The investment was financed by the Hungarian Football Federation (70%) and by the Zugló Local Government. Zugló
Zugló (german: Lerchenfeld) is the official name of the 14th district of Budapest ( hu, Budapest XIV. kerülete), the capital of Hungary. It is a large and mixed neighborhood, with communist era style highrise apartments sprinkled between decently kept one house residential streets. Budapesti Vasutas Sport Club-Zugló is a professional football club based in Zugló, Budapest, Hungary, that competes in the Nemzeti Bajnokság III. The club was founded in 1911. FC Tatabánya is a Hungarian football club based in Tatabánya. They play their home games at Stadion Gyula Grosics. History The ''Tatabányai Sport Klub'' was founded on February 6, 1910 by Ferenc Frei, a mining engineer. At this time several Hungarian towns outside of Budapest had formed football clubs – Debrecen, Miskolc, Győr. The First World War weakened the team, but in the 1920s the team was still without a doubt the most popular in Tatabánya. Artificial turf is a surface of synthetic fibers made to look like natural grass. It is most often used in arenas for sports that were originally or are normally played on grass. However, it is now being used on residential lawns and commercial applications as well. The forint (sign Ft; code HUF) is the currency of Hungary. It was formerly divided into 100 fillér, but fillér coins are no longer in circulation.
