Sylvie Faucheux
Sylvie Faucheux (born 29 May 1960, in Paris) is a French professor, specializing in the economy of the natural environment and sustainable development. President of the Versailles Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines University (UVSQ) from 2002 till April 2012, she is the current president of Université du grand ouest parisien, Professor at the Conservatoire national des arts et métiers, French National Conservatory of Arts and Crafts (Le CNAM) from 2014 until 2017, and was Director of Academic Research and Innovation at the Research Centre of INSEEC Business School, INSEEC (OMNES Education) from 2017 until 2022. Biography Training She studied economics and econometrics at the Paris 1 Pantheon-Sorbonne University in 1990 before defending her doctoral thesis in environmental economics and natural resources at the same university.
