Eduardo Smith de Vasconcellos Suplicy (born 2 April 1966), known as Supla, is a Brazilian musician. Biography Supla was born 2 April 1966 in the city of São Paulo. He is the son of Senator Marta Suplicy, a Brazilian of English, Italian and Portuguese descent, who was elected in Nov. 2010 to an eight-year term (former Mayor of São Paulo and former Minister of Tourism) and São Paulo city councilor Eduardo Suplicy, a Brazilian of French and Italian descent, elected Senator (1991/2014), occupied the position of leader of PT (Workers' Party) in the Federal Senate for three times. Supla and his younger brother João Suplicy perform in the band Brothers of Brazil. Supla and João have performed in Edinburgh, Scotland Edinburgh Festival, Prague, Czech Republic, New York, Zurich, Switzerland (Caliente Festival), London, (MTV Europe) and Los Angeles, California. ''Rockgol'' was a television show from MTV Brasil, a football championship disputed by musicians. The show ran from 1995 to 2008, and later from 2011 to 2013, until the end of MTV Brasil. The matches were most famously "narrated" by comedians Paulo Bonfá and Marco Bianchi, with sarcastic and sometime off-game comments, and putting nicknames on most musicians. The championship From 1995 to 2000, the tournament was disputed in single-elimination. After 2001, it followed the FIFA World Cup formula of 3 groups (named M, T and V after the network) followed by single-elimination semifinals\finals. Marta Suplicy
Marta Teresa Smith de Vasconcellos Suplicy (; born 18 March 1945) is a Brazilian politician and psychologist. She was Mayor of São Paulo from 2001 to 2004. She later served as the Brazilian Minister of Tourism between 14 March 2007, and 4 June 2008, when she resigned to run again for the mayoralty of São Paulo. In 2015, she left the Brazilian Workers' Party (PT). Suplicy is currently a member of Solidariedade (SD). Career Marta Suplicy attended Michigan State University (1966–68), and Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo (1969–75); she did graduate work at Stanford University (1973). Eduardo Matarazzo Suplicy (born 21 June 1941) is a Brazilian left-wing politician, economist and professor. He is one of the founders and main political figures on the Workers Party of Brazil (PT). In the municipal elections of São Paulo in 2016 was consecrated as the most voted city councilor in the history of Brazil. Massimiliano Antonio "Max" Cavalera (; born August 4, 1969) is a Brazilian musician. He co-founded the heavy metal band Sepultura in 1984 with his brother Igor Cavalera, and was the band's lead singer and rhythm guitarist until his departure in 1996. CSS (an initialism of Cansei de Ser Sexy) (, in São Paulo, English lit. "Tired of being sexy") is a Brazilian rock band from São Paulo. The band was labeled as part of the explosion of the new rave scene. Their songs are in both English and Portuguese.
