Rockgol
''Rockgol'' was a television show from MTV Brasil, a football championship disputed by musicians. The show ran from 1995 to 2008, and later from 2011 to 2013, until the end of MTV Brasil. The matches were most famously "narrated" by comedians Paulo Bonfá and Marco Bianchi, with sarcastic and sometime off-game comments, and putting nicknames on most musicians. The championship From 1995 to 2000, the tournament was disputed in single-elimination. After 2001, it followed the FIFA World Cup formula of 3 groups (named M, T and V after the network) followed by single-elimination semifinals\finals. The only exception was 2006, with only two groups. The games occurred in São Paulo Athletic Club, São Paulo, except for 2000, when it happened in Rio de Janeiro. But the hosts say that the games happen in the small town of Birigui, SP, in the "Birigui Sports Arena" as a running joke. MTV Brasil
MTV Brasil was a Brazilian over-the-air television network owned by Grupo Abril focused on the youth. The network was launched on 20 October 1990, as the first specialty television network to broadcast over-the-air, becoming the local version of MTV. It was the third MTV version launched in the world, and the first to broadcast via terrestrial television. The network headquarters was in São Paulo city, in the Avenida Professor Alfonso Bovero, 52, on the neighborhood Sumaré, which was formerly the headquarters of Rede Tupi. O Rappa was a Brazilian reggae/rock band from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Resist Control
A resist, used in many areas of manufacturing and art, is something that is added to parts of an object to create a pattern by protecting these parts from being affected by a subsequent stage in the process. Gabriel Contino, better known as Gabriel o Pensador (Portuguese for "Gabriel the Thinker") is a Brazilian rapper, writer, and composer known for his conscious lyrics which speak of activism, and issues of race, politics, social problems, and the Catholic church. Raimundos is a Brazilian punk/hardcore band formed in 1987 by Digão and Rodolfo Abrantes, in Brasília, Distrito Federal. They had with major influences from 1980s punk bands, especially Ramones, from which their name is a play of. Raimundos went on to achieve major success and become one of the most influential rock bands of Brazil in the 1990s, with multiple gold records and a double platinum achievement on their MTV live album.
