Sukie (other)
Sukie are an English four piece indie band from Kettering, Northamptonshire, England, who formed in March 2006. They had a number one on the UK Indie Chart in 2008 with the double a-side "Pink-A-Pade" / "Fairies". Following the split of the band, singer-guitarist James Bagshaw joined The Moons before forming Temples in 2012. Look See Proof were a five-piece indie pop-rock band from Hertfordshire. Founded in 2006, Look See Proof played in venues across the UK supporting bands like The Fratellis, The Rifles, Foals, The Dykeenies, Breaks Co-Op, Good Shoes, The Twang, and The Holloways. High-profile appearances include playing Club NME at KOKO, Glastonbury Festival, Camden Crawl, The Great Escape Festival and Guilfest. The band released two singles on Tigertrap Records ('Tell Me Tell Me Tell Me'/'Start Again' and 'Discussions'/'Singles The New Together') and were asked to perform live for Steve Lamacq's show on Radio 1 at Maida Vale. Maida Vale Studios is a complex of seven BBC sound studios, of which five are in regular use, in Delaware Road, Maida Vale, west London. It has been used to record thousands of classical music, popular music and drama sessions for BBC Radio 1, BBC Radio 2, BBC Radio 3, BBC Radio 4 and BBC Radio 6 Music from 1946 to the present. On 30 October 2009, BBC Radio 1 celebrated ''75 Years of Maida Vale'' by exclusively playing 75 tracks recorded at the studios over the years. One Night Only (band)
One Night Only are a British indie rock band from Helmsley, North Yorkshire, formed in 2003. History One Night Only were formed in summer 2003, consisting initially of Mark Hayton, Daniel "Pob" Parkin, Sam "Gunner" Ford and Kai Smith. The band did not have a vocalist until George Craig, a friend of Ford's brother, joined in a practice. He was asked to be the vocalist, but insisted on playing guitar as well. Smith then left the band. Contrary to some reports, they did not start out as a Beatles cover band — they initially played songs by bands such as Blink-182, New Found Glory and The Beatles, as well as some of their own material. The name, One Night Only, came about when they were asked to play a gig. Kettering is a market and industrial town in North Northamptonshire, England. It is located north of London and north-east of Northampton, west of the River Ise, a tributary of the River Nene.
