Studio Kajino
is a subsidiary of Japanese animation company Studio Ghibli. It was created prior to 2000 by Ghibli animator Yoshiyuki Momose to handle live action films for the studio. Kajino is run by former Ghibli's president Toshio Suzuki, and its first release was '' Shiki-Jitsu'' in 2000. In 2001, Studio Kajino co-produced Katsuyuki Motohiro's film '' Satorare'', but was not credited. However, the studio's involvement is acknowledged through an extra feature on the R3 DVD, entitled "Ghibli Studio". Yoshiyuki Momose
is a Japanese animator and director, who is known for his key animation works from Studio Ghibli. Career Momose was recruited by Studio Ghibli in 1988 to provide layout and other duties for ''Grave of the Fireflies''. He later provided key animations for ''Porco Rosso'', '' Whisper of the Heart'', and ''Spirited Away''. In 2004, Momose made his directorial debut on two short films, ''Portable Airport'' and ''Space Station No. 9''. In 2005, while continuing to work at Ghibli, Momose formed his own studio, Studio Kajino. Toshio Suzuki (studio Ghibli)
is a Japanese film producer of anime and a long-time colleague of Hayao Miyazaki, as well as a co-founder and the former president of Studio Ghibli. Suzuki is renowned as one of Japan's most successful producers after the enormous box office success (in Japan) of many Ghibli films. Early life Suzuki was born in Nagoya in Aichi Prefecture in 1948. Shiki-Jitsu
is a 2000 art film written and directed by Hideaki Anno. The film is Anno's second live-action feature. The screenplay is an adaption of Ayako Fujitani's novella ''Tōhimu'', which was inspired by an emotionally difficult time in Los Angeles working on her father Steven Seagal's 1998 film '' The Patriot''. The film tells the story of a director (Shunji Iwai) who meets an odd young woman (Fujitani). Taking place over a period of 33 days, the plot involves these two characters trying to work their way out of a collective emotional funk. Capsule (band)
is a Japanese electronica band consisting of producer Yasutaka Nakata and vocalist Toshiko Koshijima. Career Capsule formed in November 1997, after Yasutaka Nakata and Toshiko Koshijima met at the Teens' Music Festival in the Hokuriku area convention when they were both 17 years old. Their first single was "Sakura", released in March 2001 on Yamaha Music Communications. Their first album, ''High Collar Girl'', was significantly different from their later works in that it did not involve nearly as much use of synthesizers or contain futuristic/electronic sounds.
