Strømmen Idrettsforening is a Norwegian sports club from Strømmen. It has sections for football, athletics and gymnastics, and formerly had sections for bandy, orienteering, skiing, speed skating, swimming among other sports. History The club was founded on 25 September 1911 as ''Strømmen FK''. The name was changed to ''FK Norrøna'' in 1914. In 1923 the club merged with ''Strømmen IL'' and took the name ''IL Norrøna''. In 1935 it incorporated the club ''Strømmen BK'', founded in the 1920s, and reverted its name back to ''Strømmen FK''. On 27 June 1945, the club merged with AIF club ''Strømmen AIL'', founded 1928, and got its current name. Ullern Idrettsforening is a Norwegian multi-sports club from Ullern, Oslo. It has sections for association football, team handball, basketball, bandy and cheerleading. The Norwegian Football Cup ( no, Norgesmesterskapet i fotball for herrer) is the main knockout cup competition in Norwegian football. It is run by the Football Association of Norway and has been contested since 1902, making it the oldest football tournament in the country. ''Romerikes Blad'' is a local newspaper published in Lillestrøm, Norway. It covers the Romerike district. History and profile ''Romerikes Blad'' was established by Martin Julius Halvorsen in 1902 in Jessheim under the name ''Akershusingen'', and was affiliated with the Norwegian Labour Party. Petter Myhre
Petter Myhre (born 21 February 1972) is a retired Norwegian footballer and current assistant coach for Lillestrøm. During his active career he played for Strømmen IF, Ullern IF and Skjetten SK. He also took education at the Norwegian School of Sport Sciences. From 2002 he coached the junior team and reserves team of Vålerenga, and also played sporadic matches. He was promoted to assistant coach of the first team in 2006, and mid-season he was promoted to head coach. He lasted until July 2007.
