Caesars (band)
Caesars were a Swedish indie rock band from Stockholm, formed in 1995. In their native country, the band was originally known as Caesars Palace, a name which was changed to avoid conflicting with the name of the Las Vegas hotel. In the rest of Scandinavia they are known as Twelve Caesars. Career Outside of Sweden, the band are best known for the song "Jerk It Out", which was originally featured in the snowboarding video ''Afterbang'' in 2002, as well as the Electronic Arts video games ''SSX 3'' and ''FIFA Football 2004'', and on the PlayStation 2 game ''LMA Manager 2005''. The song also appeared in the Wii games '' Just Dance'' and ''Dance Dance Revolution SuperNova'', and in the Wii version of ''Samba de Amigo'' as downloadable content. It has also been the backdrop of television advertisements for brands such as iPod (2005) and Renault (2009). Indie Rock
Indie rock is a Music subgenre, subgenre of rock music that originated in the United States, United Kingdom and New Zealand from the 1970s to the 1980s. Originally used to describe independent record labels, the term became associated with the music they produced and was initially used interchangeably with alternative rock or "Pop rock, guitar pop rock". Metacritic is a website that review aggregator, aggregates reviews of films, TV shows, music albums, video games and formerly, books. For each product, the scores from each review are averaged (a weighted arithmetic mean, weighted average). Metacritic was created by Jason Dietz, Marc Doyle, and Julie Doyle Roberts in 1999. A double album (or double record) is an audio album that spans two units of the primary medium in which it is sold, typically either records or compact disc. Joakim Åhlund
Frans Joakim "Jocke" Åhlund (born 9 August 1970 in Stockholm, Sweden) is a Swedish musician, producer and music video director. He is the lead guitarist and lead singer of the band Caesars, and a member of the bands Teddybears, Smile and Les Big Byrd. Joakim Åhlund is older brother to musician and Teddybears member Klas Åhlund, film producer Johannes Åhlund and illustrator Anna Åhlund. He was raised in Bagarmossen in Stockholm. Producer and songwriter Aside from his artist career, Åhlund is also a songwriter and music producer.
