Stephen L. Green
Stephen Lawrence Green (born January 28, 1938) is an American real estate developer. He is the founder and former Chairman of SL Green Realty Corp., which claims to be Manhattan’s largest owner of office buildings. He retired in January 2019 and is now Chairman emeritus. He served as chairman of the company since 1997. Marc Holliday succeeded him as chairman. Hartwick College is a private liberal arts college in Oneonta, New York. The institution's origin is rooted in the founding of Hartwick Seminary in 1797 through the will of John Christopher Hartwick. In 1927, the Seminary moved to expand into a four-year college and was offered land by the city of Oneonta to move to its current location. The 13th Maccabiah Games brought 4,500 athletes to Israel from 45 nations. Jewish athletes from Hungary participated for the first time since World War II, Jewish athletes from Russia had been permitted, by their country, to play for the first time.
