Steen Krarup Jensen
Steen Krarup Jensen (born April 12, 1950 in Copenhagen, Denmark) is a Danish sculptor, poet, song writer and social criticism, social critic. He is educated in sculpture at The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts during the period from 1971 to 1978. In 1977 he received Viggo Jarls Legacy. Steen Krarup Jensen has worked with marble and granite and been experimenting with a lot of other materials in Mobile (sculpture), mobiles and Assemblage (art), assemblages. He is also one of the two inventors of the asphaltophone (see musical road). Steen Krarup Jensen was the founder of Danske Billedkunstneres Fagforening, a union of Danish sculptors. In connection to that, he became famous in 1981 when he blew up a sculpture with dynamite as a protest against the living conditions of Danish sculptors. As a writer he has written a large number of texts for variety shows, songs and newspaper chronicles. Simon Jensen
Simon K. Jensen (born 3 February 1973) is a Denmark, Danish jazz flutist, composer and poet. He is active in several genres and leads his own band, Simon Jensen Band. He lives in Gothenburg, Sweden. Jensen was born in Copenhagen, the son of artist Steen Krarup Jensen. Between 1997 and 2002, he was a permanent member of the Swedish prog rock band Grovjobb, and this band made three albums during that period. In January 2005 the album ''All You Can Eat'' with ''Simon Jensen Band'' was released on Blue Beat Productions. Jensen made his literary debut in 2009 with a collection of poems called ''Skärmen'' (in Swedish). In December 2011, his second collection of poems, ''Fingret'', was published.
