Simon Jensen
Simon K. Jensen (born 3 February 1973) is a Denmark, Danish jazz flutist, composer and poet. He is active in several genres and leads his own band, Simon Jensen Band. He lives in Gothenburg, Sweden. Jensen was born in Copenhagen, the son of artist Steen Krarup Jensen. Between 1997 and 2002, he was a permanent member of the Swedish prog rock band Grovjobb, and this band made three albums during that period. In January 2005 the album ''All You Can Eat'' with ''Simon Jensen Band'' was released on Blue Beat Productions. Jensen made his literary debut in 2009 with a collection of poems called ''Skärmen'' (in Swedish). In December 2011, his second collection of poems, ''Fingret'', was published. Blue is one of the three primary colours in the RYB colour model (traditional colour theory), as well as in the RGB (additive) colour model. It lies between violet and cyan on the spectrum of visible light. The eye perceives blue when observing light with a dominant wavelength between approximately 450 and 495 nanometres. Most blues contain a slight mixture of other colours; azure contains some green, while ultramarine contains some violet. The clear daytime sky and the deep sea appear blue because of an optical effect known as Rayleigh scattering. An optical effect called Tyndall effect explains blue eyes.
