Stardom Cinderella Tournament 2020
The was the sixth annual professional wrestling single-elimination tournament promoted by World Wonder Ring Stardom in Tokyo, Japan. The event took place on March 24, 2020, with a limited attendance due in part to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic at the time. Storylines The show featured thirteen Cinderella Tournament matches and a dark match with scripted storylines, where wrestlers portray villains, heroes, or less distinguishable characters in the scripted events that built tension and culminate in a wrestling match or series of matches. The matches can be won by pinfall, submission or elimination over the top rope. A time-limit draw or a double elimination means a loss for each competitor. World Wonder Ring Stardom
World Wonder Ring Stardom (スターダム 女子プロレス), often referred to simply as Stardom (stylized as ST★RDOM), is a Japanese '' joshi puroresu'' or women's professional wrestling promotion based in Tokyo, Japan. Stardom was founded in September 2010 by former All Japan Women co-producer Rossy Ogawa, retired professional wrestler and mixed martial artist Fuka Kakimoto, and All Japan Women veteran professional wrestler Nanae Takahashi. Stardom is currently owned by Japanese card game company Bushiroad, making it the sister promotion of New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW). In professional wrestling, a heel (also known as a ''rudo'' in '' lucha libre'') is a wrestler who portrays a villain, "bad guy", or "rulebreaker", and acts as an antagonist to the faces, who are the heroic protagonist or "good guy" characters. Not everything a heel wrestler does must be villainous: heels need only to be booed or jeered by the audience to be effective characters, although most truly successful heels embrace other aspects of their devious personalities, such as cheating to win or using foreign objects. is a professional wrestling stable, currently performing in the Japanese professional wrestling promotion, World Wonder Ring Stardom. Founded by Giulia, the stable also consists of Maika, Himeka, Thekla and Mai Sakurai. is a professional wrestling stable, currently performing in the Japanese professional wrestling promotion, World Wonder Ring Stardom. The stable is led by Utami Hayashishita and also consists of AZM, Saya Kamitani, Lady C, Hina and Miyu Amasaki. Arisa Hoshiki
(born October 13, 1995) is a Japanese singer, songwriter, retired professional wrestler, and former shoot boxer. In professional wrestling, she worked in the World Wonder Ring Stardom promotion, where she was Wonder of Stardom Champion, the promotion's secondary title. She vacated the championship on May 20, 2020, after she retired due to injury. The is a women's professional wrestling championship owned by the World Wonder Ring Stardom promotion. The title, which in Stardom's championship hierarchy is situated as the secondary title behind the World of Stardom Championship, was introduced on June 26, 2011, and the inaugural champion was crowned on July 24, 2011, when Yuzuki Aikawa defeated Yoshiko in a decision match.
