Star Awards 2019 (also SA25, Chinese: 红星大奖25) is a television award ceremony which is held in Singapore. Star Awards 2019 marks the 25th anniversary, or Silver Jubilee, of the Star Awards since it was first awarded in 1994, hence subtitled ''Star Awards 25''. The theme for the ceremony is "The Moment", highlighting the best moments of the local television industries alongside Singapore's talents and audiences as well. This is also the first award ceremony to feature a vocalized version of the Awards' theme tune, titled 《星光》(lit. "Starlight"). The Walk Of Fame and Ceremony Awards was broadcast live on 14 April 2019. The Walk Of Fame will be followed by the Awards Ceremony. It was the first ceremony (and the first live special overall) to be live-streamed on Channel 8's YouTube channel. Star Awards 2021 (Chinese: 红星大奖2021) is a television award ceremony held in Singapore on 18 April 2021, to honour the best Singaporean television, released between January 2019 and December 2020. The ceremony was delayed for a year due to the COVID-19 pandemic The Star Awards 2021 is in its 26th edition, with the theme ''connect'' 星起点, showing the role that the media companies and other industry partners are playing in engaging television audiences during the COVID-19 pandemic in Singapore during the previous year. SPOP Sing! (season 1)
''SPOP Sing!'' () is a Chinese singing reality competition broadcast by MediaCorp Channel 8. Season 1 premiered on 9 August after the broadcast of National Day Parade and ended on the live finale on 4 November at Padang. During the live finals, 18-year-old Singapore Polytechnic student Jarrell Huang (17 at the time of his audition) was announced the winner of ''SPOP Sing!'', and 21-year-old LASALLE College of the Arts student Marcus Tay was declared as a runner-up. ''Say Cheese'' (Chinese: 西瓜甜不甜) was a Singaporean drama produced by Mediacorp Studios and telecast on Mediacorp Channel 8. Synopsis Peace Photography Studio is an established but traditional studio founded 80 years ago and had 5 branches in its heyday. The Star Awards for All-Time Favourite Artiste is an award presented annually at the Star Awards, a ceremony that was established in 1994. History The category was introduced in 2004, at the 11th Star Awards ceremony; Chew Chor Meng, Li Nanxing and Zoe Tay received the award after winning the Top 10 Most Popular Male or Female Artistes award from 1994 to 2003. The Star Awards for Special Achievement Award is an award presented annually at the Star Awards, a ceremony that was established in 1994. The category was introduced in 1995, at the 2nd Star Awards ceremony; Xiang Yun received the award for her performance and it is given in honour of a MediaCorp artiste who have made significant contributions in the performance of his/her respective field of profession over the past few years.
