StarTran
StarTran is the public transit bus system in Lincoln, Nebraska, United States. It operates 18 regular bus routes and a downtown circulator service on weekdays from 5:15 a.m. to 9:55 p.m. and Saturdays from 5:55 a.m. to 7:05 p.m. There is no service on Sundays. There is a special Handi-Van transportation service for those who have a disability that prevents them from riding a regular city bus. Environmental During the summer of 2014, StarTran received 5 New Flyer CNG buses that currently operate on routes 24 Holdrege and 25 Vine. StarTran is due to receive several more during 2015 and convert a third of the fleet to CNG by 2016. The other vehicles in the fleet continue to run off Soy Biodiesel. Pinnacle Bank Arena
Pinnacle Bank Arena is a 15,500-seat indoor arena in the West Haymarket District of Lincoln, Nebraska. It was completed in 2013 and replaced the Bob Devaney Sports Center as the home of the University of Nebraska's men's and women's basketball teams. A turn back tax to support a $25 million bond was approved by Lincoln voters on May 11, 2010. On December 6, 2011, it was announced that Pinnacle Bank purchased the naming rights to the arena, at a cost of $11.25 million for 25 years. Gold And Company
Gold and Company (Gold's) was a department store located in downtown Lincoln, Nebraska. The store was founded in 1915 and quickly grew into one of Lincoln's dominant retailers throughout the 20th century. Gold's merged with the Brandeis department store in 1964 and closed in 1980. History Gold and Company was founded by William Gold. The original name was The Peoples' Store until Gold incorporated with his son in 1915, officially naming it Gold and Company.
