Stanislav Morozov
Stanislav Oleksandrovych Morozov ( uk, Станіслав Олександрович Морозов; russian: Станислав Александрович Морозов, born 1 February 1979) is a former pair skater who competed for Ukraine and now works as a coach in Russia. With partner Tatiana Volosozhar, he was a four-time (2005, 2007, 2008, 2010) Ukrainian national champion. They placed 12th at the 2006 Winter Olympics and 8th at the 2010 Winter Olympics, and as high as 4th place at Worlds and Europeans. Career Morozov began skating because his father was a pair coach, however, as a young boy he was considered overweight and written off. After starting out as a singles skater, Morozov switched to pair skating at 11. He was coached by Halyna Kukhar from 1996 until 2008. Pair Skating
Pair skating is a figure skating discipline defined by the International Skating Union (ISU) as "the skating of two persons in unison who perform their movements in such harmony with each other as to give the impression of genuine Pair Skating as compared with independent Single Skating".S&P/ID 2021, p. 109 The ISU also states that a pairs team consists of "one Woman and one Man". Pair skating, along with men's and women's single skating, has been an Olympic discipline since figure skating, the oldest Winter Olympic sport, was introduced at the 1908 Summer Olympics in London. Nina Mikhailovna Mozer (russian: Нина Михайловна Мозер; born 28 August 1964) is a Russian pair skating coach based in Moscow. She is best known for coaching Tatiana Volosozhar / Maxim Trankov and Ksenia Stolbova / Fedor Klimov, the 2014 Olympic gold and silver medalists. Personal life Nina Mikhailovna Mozer was born 28 August 1964 in Kiev, the daughter of Mikhail Mozer, a tennis player, and Svetlana Mozer (Smirnova), the 1958 and 1959 Soviet ice dancing champion. She is the niece of football player Ivan Mozer. Her son, Nikita, was born in 1991. Career Coached by her mother and Pyotr Orlov, Mozer competed in pair skating with S. Maxim Leonidovich Trankov (russian: Максим Леонидович Траньков; born 7 October 1983) is a Russian pair skater. With Tatiana Volosozhar, he is a two-time 2014 Olympic champion in the pairs and in team events, the 2013 World champion, a four-time (2012, 2013, 2014, 2016) European champion, the 2012 Grand Prix Final champion, and a three-time (2011, 2013, 2016) Russian national champion. They have also won six events on the Grand Prix series. With former partner Maria Mukhortova, Trankov is the 2008 European silver medalist, the 2007 Russian national champion, and the 2005 World Junior champion. 2007 World Figure Skating Championships
The 2007 World Figure Skating Championships was a senior international figure skating competition sanctioned by the International Skating Union. Medals were awarded in the disciplines of men's singles, ladies' singles, pair skating, and ice dancing. The event was held at the Tokyo Metropolitan Gymnasium in Tokyo, Japan from March 20 to 25.
