SpeechCycle was a company located in New York City that developed technology that enabled Rich Phone Applications (RPA). RPA is a category of customer interaction solutions that orchestrate and extend enterprise systems to the end customer through a natural language interface that is accessible over multiple channels including smartphones. SpeechCycle was acquired by Synchronoss, a NJ based company, in April 2012. Roberto Pieraccini
Roberto Pieraccini (born 15 November 1955 in Genoa, Italy) is an Italian and US electrical engineer working in the field of speech recognition, natural language understanding, and spoken dialog systems. He is currently Director of Engineering at Google in Zurich, Switzerland, within the Google Assistant organization. He has been an active contributor to speech research and technology since 1981. Ruth Brown
Ruth Alston Brown (; January 12, 1928 – November 17, 2006) was an American singer-songwriter and actress, sometimes referred to as the " Queen of R&B". She was noted for bringing a pop music style to R&B music in a series of hit songs for Atlantic Records in the 1950s, such as " So Long", "Teardrops from My Eyes" and " (Mama) He Treats Your Daughter Mean". Bresnan Communications
Bresnan Communications was an American cable television provider formed by William Bresnan in 1984. It originally operated cable systems on Michigan's Upper Peninsula. Over the next fourteen years, its operations spread to Minnesota Wisconsin, Mississippi and Georgia. In 1994, the company added international operations in Chile and Poland, with the creation of Bresnan International Partners.
