Basketball Club Brno ( cs, Basketbalový Klub Brno), for sponsorship reasons Brno Next Generation, is a Czech professional basketball club based in the city of Brno. The team plays in the Czech National Basketball League – the highest competition in the Czech Republic. Home games of Brno are played in the Sportovní hala Sokola Brno, which has a capacity of 1,100 people. The Czech Republic National Basketball League (NBL) ( cs, Národní Basketbalová Liga) is the top-tier level professional basketball league in the Czech Republic. It is run by the Asociace Ligových Klubů. The league operates under a promotion and relegation system. The bottom two NBL teams from each season's standings are relegated to the 2nd-tier level 1. The 1968–69 FIBA European Champions Cup was the twelfth installment of the European top-tier level professional basketball club competition FIBA European Champions Cup (now called EuroLeague). The Final was held at Palau dels Esports, in Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain, on April 24, 1969, and it was won by CSKA Moscow, who defeated Real Madrid 103–99. Competition system *25 teams (European national domestic league champions, plus the then current title holders), playing in a tournament system, played knock-out rounds on a home and away basis. The 1973–74 FIBA European Cup Winners' Cup was the eighth edition of FIBA's 2nd-tier level European-wide professional club basketball competition, contested between national domestic cup champions, running from October 1973, to 4 April 1974.
