Southern Regnitz
The Southern Regnitz (german: Südliche Regnitz, cs, Rokytnice) is a river of Czech Republic and Germany. Its source is near the village Hranice, Cheb District. It forms the border of Germany with the Czech Republic in the extreme northeast of Bavaria and then runs into Bavaria to join the Saale river near the city of Hof. Hranice (Cheb District)
Hranice (; german: Roßbach) is a town in Cheb District in the Karlovy Vary Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 2,100 inhabitants. Administrative parts Villages of Pastviny, Studánka and Trojmezí are administrative parts of Hranice. Etymology The old German name ''Rossbach'' means "Horse brook", referring to the brook where first inhabitants watered their horses. Therefore the horse appears on the town's coat of arms and flag. In Czech, ''hranice'' means "border". Hof, Bavaria
Hof () is a town on the banks of the Saale in the northeastern corner of the Germany, German state of Bavaria, in the Franconian region, at the Czech Republic, Czech border and the forested Fichtelgebirge and Frankenwald upland regions. The town has 47,296 inhabitants, the surrounding district an additional 95,000.
