South Zone Women's Cricket Team
The South Zone women's cricket team is a women's cricket team that represents southern India in the Women's Senior Inter Zonal One Day and Women's Senior Inter Zonal T20. It is a composite team of players from six teams from southern India: Andhra, Goa, Hyderabad, Karnataka, Kerala and Tamil Nadu. They were formed in 1974–75 to play in the Rani Jhansi Trophy, which they competed in until 2002–03, when the competition ended. They then competed in the Inter Zone Women's One Day Competition, and then in the Inter Zone Women's Three Day Competition, where they finished as runners-up in the final tournament, in 2017–18. History South Zone Women first played in the Rani Jhansi Trophy in the 1974–75 season, a List A competition. Shikha Pandey
Squadron Leader (retired) Shikha Subas Pandey (born 12 May 1989) is an Indian cricketer and former officer in the Indian Air Force (IAF). She plays for the national cricket team as a right-arm medium pacer and middle-order batter, and was an IAF air traffic control officer. Pandey made her international Twenty20 (T20) debut on 9 March 2014 against Bangladesh at Cox's Bazar cricket stadium in Bangladesh. In August of the same year, she made her One Day International cricket (ODI) and Test cricket debuts against England at Wormsley and Scarborough, respectively. Wicket-keeper
The wicket-keeper in the sport of cricket is the player on the fielding side who stands behind the wicket or stumps being watchful of the batsman and ready to take a catch, stump the batsman out and run out a batsman when occasion arises. Minnu Mani (born 24 March 1999) is an Indian international cricketer who represents the Indian women's national team. She plays for Delhi Capitals in Women's Premier League. The Pondicherry women's cricket team, also known as Puducherry women's cricket team, is a women's cricket team that represents the Indian union territory of Puducherry. Anusha Malli Bareddy (born 6 June 2003) is an Indian cricketer who currently plays for Andhra. She plays as a slow left-arm orthodox bowler.
