South West 1 East
South West 1 East is an English, level six, rugby union league in south and south-west England; mainly Bedfordshire, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Dorset, Gloucester, Northamptonshire, Oxfordshire, Warwickshire and Wiltshire. Originally a single division known as South West 2, since 1996 the division has been split into two regional leagues – South West 1 East and South West 1 West. The champions are promoted to South West Premier (formerly National League 3 South West) and the runner-up play the second team in South West 1 West, with the winning team gaining promotion. Counties 1 Southern North (formerly known as Southern Counties North) is a division at level 7 of the English rugby union system. When league rugby first began in 1987 it was a single league known as Southern Counties but since 1996 the division was split into two regional leagues - Southern Counties North and Southern Counties South. Counties 1 Southern North currently sits at the seventh tier of club rugby union in England and primarily featuring teams based in Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire. Frome
Frome ( ) is a town and civil parish in eastern Somerset, England. The town is built on uneven high ground at the eastern end of the Mendip Hills, and centres on the River Frome. The town, about south of Bath, is the largest in the Mendip district of Somerset and is part of the parliamentary constituency of Somerton and Frome. The population was 28,559 in 2021. Frome was one of the largest towns in Somerset until the Industrial Revolution, and was larger than Bath from AD 950 until 1650. Chippenham is a market town in northwest Wiltshire, England. It lies northeast of Bath, west of London, and is near the Cotswolds Area of Natural Beauty. The town was established on a crossing of the River Avon and some form of settlement is believed to have existed there since before Roman times. Buckingham ( ) is a market town in north Buckinghamshire, England, close to the borders of Northamptonshire and Oxfordshire, which had a population of 12,890 at the United Kingdom Census 2011, 2011 Census. Maids Moreton is a village and civil parish in north-west Buckinghamshire, England, around north of Buckingham. Bracknell () is a large town and civil parish in Berkshire, England, the westernmost area within the Greater London Urban Area and the administrative centre of the Borough of Bracknell Forest. It lies to the east of Reading, south of Maidenhead, southwest of Windsor and west of central London. Bracknell Rugby Football Club is an English rugby union team based in Bracknell, Berkshire. The club was established in 1955 and has served the community ever since. Bracknell RFC is known for a friendly welcome and a highly dedicated executive, coaching teams and volunteers. It is always looking for new members, players, coaches and volunteers. Beaconsfield Rugby Club
Beaconsfield Rugby Football Club, from Beaconsfield, England, was founded in 1952 by Jack Hickman, a rugby enthusiast and a leading light at Ealing RFC. Because of the distance he had to travel to support Ealing, he decided to form a new local club and an advert was placed in the Bucks Free Press, along with local contacts. Eventually the first match was played on 1953-10-03 against Windsor Ex 'A'. Beaconsfield have always played on the pitches at Oak Lodge Meadow, but sometimes used the local Army Camp pitch. Before the first clubhouse was obtained, the sides changed at the Army Camp, had tea in the Puffins Tea Shop in the old town and adjourned to The White Horse to entertain the opposition. In 1958, small Burnham Hall was obtained to become the clubhouse. The present clubhouse was completed in 1971.
