The Sony E PZ 16-50mm F3.5-5.6 OSS is a variable maximum aperture standard zoom lens for the Sony E-mount, announced by Sony on September 12, 2012, and released January 2013. The Sony α6000 (model ILCE-6000) is a digital camera announced 12 February 2014. It is a mirrorless interchangeable lens camera (MILC), which has a smaller body form factor than a traditional digital single-lens reflex camera, DSLR while retaining the sensor size and features of an APS-C-sized model. The barrel of the lens telescopes outward from the main lens body as it's zoomed in from 16mm to 70mm. Image quality The lens has a tendency to be soft in the corners and toward the 70mm end of the lens' zoom range.
