Song Of Lahore
''Song of Lahore'' is a documentary film directed by Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy and Andy Schocken. The film follows a group of musicians as they travel from their home in Pakistan to New York City to perform at Lincoln Center. Premiere The film had its world premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival on April 18, 2015. The limited release was set for November 13, 2015. Actor Faran Tahir and comedian Saad Haroon attended the premiere of the film. Following the screening, the film received standing ovation. Wynton Marsalis
Wynton Learson Marsalis (born October 18, 1961) is an American trumpeter, composer, teacher, and artistic director of Jazz at Lincoln Center. He has promoted classical and jazz music, often to young audiences. Marsalis has won nine Grammy Awards, and his ''Blood on the Fields'' was the first jazz composition to win the Pulitzer Prize for Music. He is the only musician to win a Grammy Award in both jazz and classical during the same year. Metacritic is a website that review aggregator, aggregates reviews of films, TV shows, music albums, video games and formerly, books. For each product, the scores from each review are averaged (a weighted arithmetic mean, weighted average). Metacritic was created by Jason Dietz, Marc Doyle, and Julie Doyle Roberts in 1999. The site provides an excerpt from each review and hyperlinks to its source. A color of green, yellow or red summarizes the critics' recommendations. It is regarded as the foremost online review aggregation site for the video game industry. Metacritic's scoring converts each review into a percentage, either mathematically from the mark given, or what the site decides subjectively from a qualitative review.
