Solomon Okoronkwo
Solomon Ndubisi Okoronkwo (born 2 March 1987) is a Nigerian footballer who plays for NOFV-Oberliga club CFC Hertha 06. Career He was discovered in 2004 by FIFA agent Marcelo Houseman, who got his guardianship and took him to Hertha BSC. In October 2004, his agent recommended Okoronkwo to coach Samson Siasia and he was fundamental for Nigeria's U-20 qualifying for the African Youth Championship in Benin 2005. He was also on the Nigerian Under 23 team that won silver at the 2008 Beijing Olympics. Okoronkwo was called up for his first senior cap in October 2008 by Nigeria coach Shaibu Amodu. Enugu
Enugu ( ; ) is the capital city of Enugu State in Nigeria. It is located in southeastern part of Nigeria. The city had a population of 820,000 according to the 2022 Nigerian census. The Nigerian men's national under-20 football team represents Nigeria in men's international football also known as the Nigeria Under-20s or nicknamed the ''Flying Eagles.'' The 2011–12 Nemzeti Bajnokság I, also known as NB I for short, was the 110th season of top-tier football in Hungary. The league was officially named ''OTP Bank Liga'' for sponsorship reasons. The season began on 15 July 2011 and ended on 27 May 2012. Videoton were the defending champions, having won their first Hungarian championship at the end of the 2010–11 season. Teams Szolnok and MTK finished the 2010–11 season in the bottom two places of the table and thus were relegated to their respective NB II divisions. MTK ended a 16-year stay in the top league, while Szolnok were relegated after just one year in the league. Shaibu Amodu
Shuaibu Amodu (18 April 1958 – 10 June 2016) was a Nigerian football player and coach who played as a forward. Playing career Amodu, a striker, played for Dumez and Niger Tornadoes. His playing career ended after he broke his leg. Coaching career Amodu managed a number of club sides in Nigeria, such as BCC Lions, El-Kanemi Warriors and Shooting Stars; he also managed Orlando Pirates in South Africa. He first managed the Nigerian national team from April 2001 to February 2002. Amodu later stated that his dismissal was "unfair", and also said that, a month later, he had yet to receive a formal letter confirming his dismissal. He was re-appointed manager in April 2008. The U-20 Africa Cup of Nations also called TotalEnergies U-20 Africa Cup of Nations for sponsoring reason (previously known as the African Youth Championship or the African U-20 Championship) is the main international youth football competition for CAF nations, and is competed for by under 20 year olds. Samson Siasia (born 14 August 1967) is a Nigerian former professional football striker and the former head coach of the Nigeria national team from 2010 to October 2011. He was reappointed in 2016. On 16 August 2019, FIFA banned Siasia from all football activities for life (later reduced to five years), following a match-fixing investigation. The adjudicatory chamber of FIFA’s independent Ethics Committee alleged that the former Nigerian coach is guilty of "bribes in relation to the manipulation of matches in violation of the FIFA Code of Ethics". The NOFV- Oberliga is a division at step 5 of the German football league system. After the fall of the Berlin Wall, it became the successor of the DDR-Oberliga, and functions today as a 5th division in the former territory of East Germany and the city of Berlin. This league is named after the Nordostdeutscher Fußballverband (NOFV: North-East German Football Association), the regional association of the DFB in the former East German territories. The men's football tournament at the 2008 Summer Olympics was held in Beijing and four other cities in the People's Republic of China from 7 to 23 August. Associations affiliated with FIFA were invited to enter their men's under-23 teams in regional qualifying competitions, from which 15 teams, plus the host nation, reached the final tournament. Men's teams were allowed to augment their squads with up to three players over the age of 23. For these Games, the men competed in a 16-team tournament. Preliminary matches commenced on 7 August, the day before the Games' opening ceremony. The teams were grouped into four pools of four teams each for a round-robin preliminary round.
