"Sola" () is a song by former Puerto Rico, Puerto Rican rapper Héctor el Father taken from his first solo album ''The Bad Boy (album), The Bad Boy'' (2006). It was released alongside the album as its lead single on November 21, 2006 by VI Music, Machete Music and Gold Star Music. It is Héctor el Father's most successful single to date, reaching number one on the ''Billboard'' Hot Latin Songs chart and being nominated for various music awards. The song was later included on the track lists of the compilation albums ''El Rompe Discoteka: The Mix Album'' (2007) and ''The Bad Boy: The Most Wanted Edition'' (2007). Héctor El Father
Héctor Luis Delgado Román (born September 4, 1979) is a Puerto Rican rapper, singer and record producer, formerly known by his stage names Héctor "El Father" and Héctor "El Bambino". After retirement, he obtained a degree in Theology at Southern Methodist University and dedicated his life to preaching the Christian faith in his homeland of Puerto Rico. In his recent work as a preacher he has touched many lives, moving many rappers to follow in his footsteps including Tito el Bambino and Almighty. He has also been prolific in the field of linguistics, coining terms like , as well as phrases including (which has seen widespread use in get-out-the-vote campaigns recently, as well as foreplay, and less so in the original sense of gangster violence). VI Music is a Puerto Rican record label specializing in the reggaeton genre, founded by reggaeton producers Mario VI, Alex Gargolas and Juan Vidal. The record label came to prominence after securing a joint venture with Universal Latino and Machete Music. Machete Music is an urban music label owned by Universal Music Group. The record label had been largely associated with reggaeton music, but in recent years, it has been also been signing non-reggaeton artists such as Malverde, Mala Rodriguez and Chino XL. The label is part of Universal Music Latin Entertainment. Machete Music is one of the most prevalent labels in the Reggaeton genre.
