VI Music
VI Music is a Puerto Rican record label specializing in the reggaeton genre, founded by reggaeton producers Mario VI, Alex Gargolas and Juan Vidal. The record label came to prominence after securing a joint venture with Universal Latino and Machete Music. Their albums include gold and platinum productions such as "The Last Don" and "King of Kings" by Don Omar, Barrio Fino by Daddy Yankee, " A La Reconquista" and " La Historia: Live" by Tito y Hector, "Los MVP" by Khriz y Angel and " Sin Limite" by Magnate y Valentino among many others. During the height of their popularity, VI Music had some of the most successful reggaeton acts signed to their label. The company has not released an album since 2009 after most of their artists left or had their contracts sold to Universal Latino, most notably Don Omar. Glory (artist)
Glorimar Montalvo Castro (born February 14, 1979 in Santurce), also known as "La Gata Gangster", is a Puerto Rican reggaeton singer. Music career Glory has one of reggaeton's most recognized female voices. She has popularized phrases such as ("loose as a shoestring", slang meaning "promiscuous") and ''dame más gasolina'' ("give me more gasoline"). Nelson Díaz Martinez (born on April 7, 1972 in San Juan, Puerto Rico), known professionally as DJ Nelson is a Puerto Rican DJ and record producer who played a significant role in the development and popularization of reggaeton. He first made a name for himself as part of the Noise, a club-centered collective that was spawned in 1994. The Noise—composed of DJs, MCs, producers, and club coordinators—hosted a long-lasting series of club nights in San Juan that were vital to the development and popularization of reggaeton. DJ Nelson earned credit as one of the top Noise DJs, and he also served as a producer and arranger for the collective's music. Eliel Lind Osorio (born January 7, 1981 in Rio Grande, Puerto Rico), best known only as Eliel, is a Latín Music, ballad, reggaeton, and urban producer. His partnership with Don Omar has led him to critical acclaim and commercial success. Biography He was raised by his grandparents that would later help him achieve his greatest dream, to be the best producer in the industry. He began as a musician in the 1st Baptist Church in Loiza, Puerto Rico as a percussionist. It is then that his mother makes him learn the piano since the church's choir was missing a pianist.
