Sinner Get Ready
''Sinner Get Ready'' (stylized in all caps) is the fourth studio album by American musician Kristin Hayter, under her alias Lingua Ignota. Created in collaboration with producer and engineer Seth Manchester, it is the follow-up to Hayter's 2019 album ''Caligula''. It was released on Sargent House on August 6, 2021, and was met with widespread acclaim from music critics. Critical reception ''Sinner Get Ready'' received widespread critical acclaim. At Metacritic, which assigns a normalized rating out of 100 to reviews from professional publications, the release received an average score of 83, based on ten reviews, indicating "universal acclaim." Lingua Ignota (musician)
Kristin Hayter (born June 17, 1986), known professionally as Lingua Ignota ( Latin for "unknown language"), is an American classically trained multi-instrumentalist. She draws on her experiences as a survivor of domestic violence for musical and lyrical inspiration, and describes her music as "survivor anthems". In 2017, she self-released the albums ''Let the Evil of His Own Lips Cover Him'' and ''All Bitches Die'' under the Lingua Ignota moniker, which spread through word-of-mouth. Lingua Ignota's music caught the attention of Profound Lore Records, who re-issued ''All Bitches Die'' and released her third studio album, ''Caligula'', in 2019. Her fourth album, ''Sinner Get Ready'', was released in 2021 on Sargent House and received more widespread critical acclaim. ''Loud and Quiet'' is a British bi-monthly music magazine that focuses on new music from underground indie, alternative, electronic and hip hop artists. History and profile The magazine was founded in January 2005 by Stuart Stubbs as a home-printed fanzine in Southend-on-Sea, Essex. It relocated to London in 2006. Rough Trade (shops)
Rough Trade is a group of independent record shops in the United Kingdom and the United States with headquarters in London. The first Rough Trade shop was opened in 1976 by Geoff Travis in the Ladbroke Grove district of West London. Travis reportedly took the name from the Canadian art punk/ new wave band Rough Trade. In 1978, the shop spawned Rough Trade Records, which became the label of bands from The Smiths to The Libertines. In 1982, the two separated and the shop remains an independent entity from the label, although links between the two are strong. At the same time, the shop moved from its original location on Kensington Park Road round the corner to Talbot Road. In 1988, a shop opened in Neal's Yard, Covent Garden. Weighted Arithmetic Mean
The weighted arithmetic mean is similar to an ordinary arithmetic mean (the most common type of average), except that instead of each of the data points contributing equally to the final average, some data points contribute more than others. The notion of weighted mean plays a role in descriptive statistics and also occurs in a more general form in several other areas of mathematics. If all the weights are equal, then the weighted mean is the same as the arithmetic mean.
