Simpel Session
Simple Session (formerly known as Simpel Session) is an international extreme sports event taking place annually in Estonia. As the event has grown by years, it has also branched outside of Estonia with its Simple Summer Session series, with 2010 and 2011 events taking place in Helsinki, Finland and 2017 and 2018 in Riga, Latvia. History 2000 The first event, then named Pepsi Street Challenge, was held in the year 2000 in newly opened outdoor Simpel Skatepark, Tähtvere, Tartu. In the first ever year, the event featured BMX and skateboarding disciplines, including inline skating, BMX vert and dirt. Extreme Sport
Action sports, adventure sports or extreme sports are activities perceived as involving a high degree of risk. EMT (mobile Operator)
AS EMT was Estonia's and one of the Baltic's largest mobile operator. Founded on 28 April 1991 as an Estonian under Eesti Telekom (now Telia Eesti). On 20 January 2016, the company, along with telecommunications provider Elion Enterprises Limited, Elion were merged under the Telia Company, Telia name, along with parent company Eesti Telekom becoming Telia Eesti. The X Games are an annual extreme sports event organized, produced and broadcast by ESPN. Coverage is also shown on ESPN's sister network, ABC. The inaugural X Games were held during the summer of 1995 in Providence and Newport, Rhode Island, United States. Participants compete to win bronze, silver, and gold medals, as well as prize money. Woodward Camp
Woodward Camp or Camp Woodward is a sleep away summer camp in Woodward, Pennsylvania, United States. It was founded in 1970 by Edward Isabelle, who was an All-American gymnast. Named after a small town 35 minutes east of State College, Pennsylvania, Woodward started out as a gymnastics camp. When the US decided to boycott the 1980 Olympic games, Woodward Camp expanded its programming to include BMX racing. The BMX program quickly grew and the facilities were expanded to include ramps. Saku Suurhall
Unibet Arena is a multi-purpose indoor arena in the Haabersti subdistrict of the Estonian capital, Tallinn. Opened in November 2001, it is the largest multi-purpose hall in the country with around 7,000 seats but can hold up to 10,000 people. Flatland BMX
Flatland is a freestyle BMX riding style performed on smooth flat surfaces that do not include any ramps, jumps, or grindrails. It is sometimes described as a form of artistic cycling with a blend of breakdancing. Flatland occupies a position somewhat removed from the rest of freestyle BMX. Enthusiasts are often very dedicated, and will spend several hours a day perfecting their techniques. Flatland also differs from the other events in that the terrain used is nothing but a smooth, flat surface. Dirt Jumping
Dirt jumping is the practice of riding bikes over jumps made of dirt or soil and becoming airborne. Dirt Jumping evolved alongside BMX racing and is similar to BMX or mountain bike racing in that the rider jumps off of mounds of dirt, usually performing a midair trick in between. It differs in that the jumps are usually much larger and designed to lift the rider higher into the air.
