Simone Giannelli (born 9 August 1996) is an Italian volleyball player, a member of the Italy men's national volleyball team and Italian club Sir Safety Umbria Volley, Sir Safety Perugia, silver medalist of the 2015 FIVB Volleyball Men's World Cup, 2015 World Cup, bronze medalist of the 2015 Men's European Volleyball Championship, 2015 European Championship and gold medalist of the 2021 Men's European Volleyball Championship and the 2022 FIVB Volleyball Men's World Championship. Career He had proved himself an up-and-coming star within volleyball, by achieving the Finals MVP award at the 2014-2015 Italian Volleyball League won by his team against Modena Volley. Bolzano
Bolzano ( or ; german: Bozen, (formerly ); bar, Bozn; lld, Balsan or ) is the capital city of the province of South Tyrol in northern Italy. The CEV Cup is the second tier official competition for men's Volleyball clubs of Europe. The competition takes place every year. Until 2000, it was the CEV Cup Winners' Cup. 2022 FIVB Volleyball Men's Club World Championship
The 2022 FIVB Volleyball Men's Club World Championship was the 17th edition of the competition. It was held in Betim, Brazil. It was the seventh time as well as the third consecutive times Betim was selected as the host city. The tournament was held from 7 to 11 December 2022. It was Volei Renata's first appearance at the Club World Championship. Sir Safety Susa Perugia won their title for the first time on their first participation of the tournament. Simone Giannelli was chosen as MVP of this tournament. Host selection On 10 June 2022 Brazilian media reported that this edition of the men's club world championship would be hosted in Minas Gerais, Brazil. According to the report, Brazil is going to host both men's and women's club world championship. 2018 FIVB Volleyball Men's Club World Championship
The 2018 FIVB Men's Club World Championship was the 14th edition of the tournament. It was held in Poland for the second straight time from 26 November to 2 December 2018. Eight teams competed in the tournament, including four wild cards. In an all-Italian final Trentino Volley defeated Cucine Lube Civitanova and won the title for the fifth time. Russia's Fakel Novy Urengoy claimed the bronze medal by defeating Poland's Asseco Resovia in the 3rd place match. Aaron Russell from Trentino Volley was elected the Most Valuable Player. FIVB Volleyball Men's Club World Championship
The FIVB Volleyball Men's Club World Championship is an international men's club volleyball competition organised by the '' Fédération Internationale de Volleyball'' (FIVB), the sport's global governing body. The competition was first contested in 1989 in Italy. It was not held between 1993 and 2008, but since 2009, the competition has been held every year, and has been hosted by Qatar and Brazil except in 2017 and 2018 where both hosted by Poland. The 2015–16 CEV Champions League was the 57th edition of the highest level European volleyball club competition organised by the European Volleyball Confederation. Participating teams Format League round 28 teams have been drawn to 7 pools of 4 teams each. In each pool, the competition is organised on the basis of a double round-robin system. Each team will thus play 6 matches: twice against each opponent. In the League Round, the placing of the teams is determined by the number of matches won. CEV Champions League
The CEV Champions League is the top official competition for men's volleyball clubs from the whole of Europe. The competition is organised every year by the European Volleyball Confederation. Formula (2018–19 to present) Qualification A total of 20 teams participate in the main competition, with 18 teams being allocated direct vacancies on the basis of ranking list for European Cup Competitions, and 2 teams from the qualification rounds. League round 20 teams take part in the League round where they are split in to 5 groups. Marco Falaschi (born 18 September 1987) is an Italian volleyball player, a member of the Italy men's national volleyball team and Polish club ZAKSA Kędzierzyn-Koźle, bronze medalist of World League 2013, Montenegrin Champion (2014).
