Simon Asmar
Simon Asmar (Arabic سيمون أسمر: Born in Ghazir, January 2, 1943 - September 11, 2019) was a Lebanese television director and producer, and the creator of Studio al-Fan (Art Studio), the famous and one of the Arab world's first star-maker talent show in Lebanon, that is behind most famous Lebanese stars like Majida El Roumi, Ragheb Alama, Nawal El Zoghbi, Wael Kfoury and Assi El Hellani. Thus he was nicknamed the "Star-maker" (صانع النجوم). Asmar also produced several popular game shows, including Bab al-Haz (Gate of Luck), Laylet Haz (A Lucky Night) and Ahla bi Hal Tali (You're Welcome). He was also founded the River Arts (نهر الفنون), a theatre-style river-side restaurant and cafe with a large gathering his famous artists with their orchestras, and a destination for Arab and international tourists. MTV (Lebanon)
Murr Television, marketed and known as MTV Lebanon, is a Lebanese television station based in Naccache, Metn District. History Founded in 1991 by Gabriel Murr, a Lebanese businessman and politician. MTV was shut down in 2002 as it was found guilty of violating article 68 of the electoral law of 1999 which bans propaganda during the election process but, since other Lebanese channels did not comply with the law either, some observers suspect that the closure was due to MTV’s criticism of the Lebanese government and of Syria. As well as lawsuit againt MTV In 2005, the Lebanese parliament decided to amend article 68 and reopen the station after the Syrian troops withdrew from Lebanon and the anti-Syrian opposition coalition won a majority in Lebanon’s parliament, but the station remained closed. Celebrity Duets Arab World
Celebrity Duets is the Arabic version of the American program Celebrity Duets, where Arab’s most prominent professional singers team up with 13 non-singing celebrities from different backgrounds, in front of a live studio audience, a panel of judges, and viewers who get to vote them off, in a weekly elimination competition. A panel of judges will give their opinion after each performance, although the final call on who remains in the running is the audience's, through SMS voting. The prize money earned at the end of each episode will be donated to a charity selected by the leaving contestant. Myriam Fares ( ar, ميريام فارس , ; born 3 May 1983) is a Lebanese singer, actress, and entertainer. Fares Karam
Fares Karam ( ar, فارس كرم; born 21 January 1973) is a Lebanese singer who specializes in the Dabke style and Lebanese music in general. He is known for the songs "Retani" (I wish), "El-Tannoura" (The Skirt), "Shefta" (I Saw Her) and "Neswanji" (womanizer). Throughout his career, he has participated in a large number of concerts, public celebrations and festivals all over Lebanon. Ghazir
Ghazir ( ar, غزير) is a town and municipality in the Keserwan District of the Keserwan-Jbeil Governorate of Lebanon. It is located north of Beirut. It has an average elevation of 380 meters above sea level and a total land area of . The town has four schools, two public and two private, with a total of 3,253 students as of 2008.
