Shriek (character)
Shriek (Frances Louise Barrison) is a fictional character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. She is usually depicted as an enemy of Spider-Man, and the lover of Cletus Kasady. Naomie Harris portrayed the character in the live-action Sony's Spider-Man Universe film '' Venom: Let There Be Carnage'' (2021). Publication history Shriek first appeared in ''Spider-Man Unlimited'' #1 (May 1993) and was created by writer Tom DeFalco and artist Ron Lim. Fictional character biography Shriek is a dangerous and criminally insane villainess with the ability to manipulate sound. During the events of ''Maximum Carnage'', she allied herself with Carnage and several other supervillains who went about New York on a killing spree. Shriek's origins and real name were, at first, uncertain. She was named Sandra Deel in her earliest appearances, but named Frances Louise Barrison in later appearances. Michael Bair
Michael A. Hernandez is an American comics artist also known by the pen name Michael Bair, who is best known for his work as an inker. His work includes Marvel Comics' ''Alpha Flight'', and DC Comics' ''Hawkman''. He is best known for inking Rags Morales' pencils since 2002, most notably on the miniseries ''Identity Crisis''. Biography Bair started his career in the early 1980s, pencilling a "Stormy Tempest" story in ''Star*Fems'' #2 for AC Comics/Paragon Publications in 1982. In 1983, he began working for the leading American comic book publishers, DC Comics and Marvel Comics. Bair's first work for "DC was the ' Huntress' backup in ''Wonder Woman'' and then '' JSA Vs America,''" all of which work, he recalls, "was pencilling." Sony's Spider-Man Universe
Sony's Spider-Man Universe (SSU) is an American media franchise and shared universe centered on a series of superhero films produced by Columbia Pictures in association with Marvel Entertainment. Distributed by Sony Pictures Releasing, the films are based on various Marvel Comics characters and properties commonly associated with Spider-Man. Work on an expanded universe using supporting characters from the ''Spider-Man'' films began by December 2013. Sony Pictures planned to use ''The Amazing Spider-Man 2'' (2014) to launch several spin-off films focused on Spider-Man villains from the comics, including a Venom film. Jackal (Marvel Comics)
The Jackal is an alias used by several supervillain, supervillains appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics, usually depicted as List of Spider-Man enemies, enemies of the superhero Spider-Man. The original and best known incarnation Miles Warren was originally introduced in ''The Amazing Spider-Man'' #31 (December 1965) as a professor at the fictional Empire State University. Later storylines established him as also being a scientist researching genetics and biochemistry, and revealed an unhealthy romantic obsession he had for Gwen Stacy. Warren was driven mad with grief and jealousy so he created his Jackal alter-ego to seek revenge on Spider-Man, whom he blamed for Gwen's The Night Gwen Stacy Died, tragic death.
