Shilese Jones
Shilese Jones (born July 26, 2002) is an American artistic gymnast. She was a member of the teams that won gold at the 2022 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships, 2022 World Championships and the 2018 Pan American Gymnastics Championships, 2018 Pan American Championships. Individually she is the 2022 World all-around silver medalist, as well as the 2022 World uneven bars silver medalist. Early life Jones was born in Seattle, Washington (state), Washington to parents Sylvester Jones and Latrice Bryant. She has two sisters. Gymnastics career Junior 2014–15 Jones qualified to junior elite in 2014. She made her elite debut at the American Classic where she finished 29th in the all-around but fourth on vault. She later competed at the U.S. Classic where she placed fourteenth in the all-around, seventh on vault, ninth on floor exercise, and twenty-third on uneven bars and balance beam. Gold Over America Tour
The Gold Over America Tour, also referred to as Athleta Presents Gold Over America Tour, was a gymnastics tour headlined by Simone Biles. Background In late 2019 Simone Biles announced her plans to launch a post-Olympic all-woman tour that would be a mixture of sports and entertainment intended to inspire the next generation of female athletes. UCLA gymnast Katelyn Ohashi was the first cast member announced that would join the tour. The tour featured exhibitions in 35 cities and had been described as a "gymnastics-meets-pop-concert spectacular". Sunisa "Suni" Lee (born Sunisa Phabsomphou; March 9, 2003) is a Hmong American artistic gymnast. She is the 2020 Olympic all-around champion and uneven bars bronze medalist. 2018 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships
The 2018 Artistic Gymnastics World Championships was the 48th edition of the Artistic Gymnastics World Championships. The competition was held from October 25 – November 3, 2018, at the Aspire Academy Dome in Doha, Qatar. It was the first time that the competition was held in the Middle East. Simone Biles became the first American to medal on every event at a single World Championships and the first woman to do so in 31 years. Kara Eaker (born November 7, 2002) is an American artistic gymnast. On the balance beam she is the 2018 Pan American and 2019 Pan American Games champion and a two-time United States national silver medalist (2018, 2019). On floor exercise she is the 2019 Pan American Games silver medalist and the 2018 Pan American bronze medalist. Trinity Lemyra Thomas (born April 7, 2001) is an American artistic gymnast and a four-time National Team member (2016–20).
