Shed Productions
Shed Productions, part of Warner Bros. Television Productions UK, was an independent UK television production company, specialising in contemporary, original drama programming and content. It was established in 1998 by Eileen Gallagher, Brian Park, Ann McManus and Maureen Chadwick, who previously worked together at Granada Television. As of October 2015 it no longer exists as a company with all properties folded into Wall to Wall. Company history Shed's first major production, the hit drama '' Bad Girls'' was commissioned by ITV in the summer of 1998 and proved to be a huge success with viewers, becoming one of the UK's most consistently successful dramas during its eight series run. In 2000, following the success of ''Bad Girls'', Shed won a major new commission for primetime ITV, ''Footballers' Wives''. Wall to Wall Media, part of Warner Bros. Television Studios UK (formerly Shed Media Group), is an independent television production company that produces event specials and drama, factual entertainment, science and history programmes for broadcast by networks in both the United Kingdom and United States. Its productions include Who Do You Think You Are?, New Tricks, Child Genius, and Long Lost Family. In January 2009, Wall to Wall's first feature film ''Man on Wire'' won a BAFTA award for Outstanding British Film and followed this success with an Academy Award for Best Documentary Feature. Kris Marshall
Kristopher Marshall (born 11 April 1973) is an English actor, starring in films, television and on stage for more than 20 years. He has played Nick Harper in ''My Family'', Colin Frissell in the 2003 film ''Love Actually'', Gratiano in ''The Merchant of Venice'', and Dave in the first series of ''Citizen Khan'' (2012). Simon Nye
Simon Nye (born 29 July 1958) is an English screenwriter, best known for television comedy. He wrote the hit British sitcom, sitcom ''Men Behaving Badly'', and all of the four ITV Pantos. He co-wrote the 2006 film ''Flushed Away'', created an adaptation of Richmal Crompton's ''Just William (book series), Just William'' books in 2010, and wrote the drama series ''The Durrells''. Early life Nye was born in Burgess Hill, West Sussex, Sussex. Nye was educated at The College of Richard Collyer, Collyer's School and Bedford College (London), Bedford College, University of London, where he studied French and German. ''Men Behaving Badly'' is a Television in the United Kingdom, British British sitcom, sitcom that was created and written by Simon Nye. It follows the lives of Gary Strang (Martin Clunes) and his flatmates Dermot Povey (Harry Enfield; series 1 only) and Tony Smart (Neil Morrissey; series 2 onwards). It was first broadcast on ITV (TV network), ITV in 1992. A total of six series were made, along with a Christmas special and a trilogy of episodes that make up the feature-length "last orders". The series was filmed in and around Ealing in West London. The setting, however, is implied to be South London, and many references are made to Surrey. ''Catwalk Dogs'' is a British television film written by Simon Nye and produced by Shed Productions for ITV. It stars Kris Marshall and Georgia Mackenzie and was first shown on 21 October 2007. Filming took place between 17 and 24 June in Teddington. Plot Catwalk Dogs is the story of Sally and Michael a couple who are coping with the trauma of miscarriage. The day Michael brings home pedigree puppy Archie it changes their lives forever. Archie is a Wire haired fox terrier. With their relationship wavering under the emotional stress, Sally decides to leave Michael. As a bolt hole she moves in next door to her new-found doggie friend, Guy and his formidable mother, dog show judge and Rottweiler breeder, Mrs Jessop. Greenock Academy
The Greenock Academy was a mixed non-denominational school in the west end of Greenock, Scotland, founded in 1855, originally independent, later a grammar school with a primary department, and finally a Comprehensive school only for ages eleven to eighteen. On 24 June 2011, Greenock Academy closed after a history spanning 156 years. Between 2012 and 2015, the school became the filming location of BBC One's school drama '' Waterloo Road''. John Stuart Ellis (born 4 June 1955) is a British theatre and television actor from London, best known for his portrayal of villainous prison officer Jim Fenner in the TV series '' Bad Girls''.
